What are the differences between two sentences. I can't figure out the use of "would" when the second part is present tense.


Diane would make a good teacher – she’s so patient.

Diane will make a good teacher – she’s so patient.

In the first, Diane is someone about whom the speaker has an opinion. In the second, she is in training to become a teacher or has already been hired but hasn't started yet.
