a. I did poorly to help him.
b. I did badly to help him.
c. I did wrong to help him.
d. I did wrongly to help him.

In which of the above cases
1. I did the wrong thing to help him. I shouldn't have helped him.

and in which

2. I didn't help him properly. I didn't help him the way I should have.

1- c (I would use 'I was wrong to help him')
2 I would change it for this meaning to something like 'I didn't help him well', 'I give him as much help as I could have' or 'I wasn't much help'.
