(I think I posted this message at the wrong place earlier. I cannot
find it. It this is a duplicate, please excuse my error.)
What are the differences between the "time sense" expressed by
the following sentences:
(i) They have had done a good job.
(ii) They have done a good job.
(iii) They did a good job.
My understanding is that (ii) is present perfect and (iii) is past indefinite,
so what is (i) ? And under what circumstance should you use it ?
