1.The numbers of the students are...

2.The number of the students is...

could you please elaborate your explanations you see I am learning English and give me some simple answers and

examples.....Thanks in advance.

It is extremely difficult to answer questions based on short fragments of sentences. You need to give us whole sentences to work with.

In this case, I can't come up with a convincing sentence starting with either of your phrases.

Regarding the final sentence of your post (and of your other posts), the first part is entirely unnecessary. We are aware that you are a learner. If we need to elaborate on an explanation, we will. Sometimes it's not necessary.
