what are the differences in meanings for:

a) below and under
b) to rob and to steal

what are the differences in meanings for:

a) below and under
They are basically interchangeable.

b) to rob and to steal
Generally I would rob a person or a place and in the process I would steal an object.
"Scarface robbed the bank and managed to steal one million dollars from the safe."

There may be others who have better examples.

That seems like a perfect differentiation between rob and steal.
