What's the difference between "different" and "differing"?
Are both of my sentences correct?
1. After all we reached an agreement/settlement despite our different views.
2. After all we reached an agreement/settlement despite our differing views.

They're both okay, in my opinion. Not great, but okay. I suggest a comma after all, and I prefer #2.

I recommend a few words to clarify what "after all" is supposed to mean (after all the time, after all the arguing, etc.).
