Hi everyone,

If I am using the phrase "It is a fast-acting free-rinsing shampoo", do I need to use a comma between 'fast-acting' and 'free-rinsing'?

Thanks.

This seems like an advert, and advertising has rules of its own when it comes to spelling and punctuation. Whereas a comma would ordinarily be used, it would be too formal -and detract from the hype of the claims - to use a comma. Methinks, omit.

The phrase is part of a product description within a website and we are trying to keep the grammar as accurate as possible. Therefore, I will use the comma.

Thanks for the advice, David.

Yes, I would use a comma. If you don't, it sounds too wordy. Hope it helps
