Could you please help me with this sentence:

“I went to visit Moscow. I stayed there for a week. The first day I visited the Red Square. During the other six days I visited a lot of museums and different places”

Is the underlined phrase correct?

I would put a comma after "day" and "days" in those sentences. Note that it's just "Red Square", not "the Red Square".
