In the name of the Merciful Allah,
Hi there, I'd like to ask about "each" as an adjective, is there a possibility that the noun comes directly after "each" be plural? What makes me asking this is the following statement I just read:
'...the cervical spine has special openings in each vertebrae for the arteries that carry blood to the brain.". Thanks ahead.

We tend to use each if we are thinking about members of a group individually, and every if we are thinking of them in total. In your example it's singular not plural.

So, my example is wrong.
