1. What is the difference between an editor and an editor-in-large?
2.What does the "e.g." you see in dictionaries stand for if it was not abrieviated?

The abbreviation “e.g.” stands for “exampli gratia”, which is Latin for “for example”.

I’m afraid I don’t know what is meant by “editor-in-large”. :( I’ll have to let others help you out with your first question. Okay?

:)Fade-col:)

editor-in-large

I did a google search for "editor-in-large", and I did find it used a few places. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how it is different from any other kind of editor. Hm. It looks like the people here aren't very helpful either. :(

Regards,
RonBee

Apparently, an editor-at-large is somebody who not only edits submissions by others but also takes on reportorial assignments.
