Eid-ul-Adha is a most exciting and special festival of Muslims.
It is the sunnah of the Prophet Ibrahim AS.
In this festival muslims sacrifice animals in the Allah's way.
Others religion also have festivals of sacrification but the Eid-ul-Adha is different and unique than others.
Sacrification on Eid-ul-Adha is a ritual of Hajj, it teaches that nothing is more important than the love for Allah .
The day of Eid-ul-Adha starts with the special prayers and Salat-ul-Eid in Eidgah where everyone pray and greet each other.
After prayers people sacrifice animals and distribute the meat among relatives,neighbours,poors and needy.
Where Eid-ul-Adha is a event to show their devotation and love for Allah, it is a fun for children.
Eid-ul-Adha is a festival full of activities,people buy new cloths, decorate their houses,women wear colorful bangles,decorate henna on their palms,cook various dishes and exchange gifts and cards.
Eid-ul-Adha reminds us that Allah wants us to give in his way what we love the most, even if it is our life.We must do what Allah wants us to do.

Do you think it should be henna their palms.
Another sentence is women wear colorful bangles and decorate their palms with henna.

We use 'henna' as a verb here, because many people use it in their hair, so it would make sense. However, if you prefer, you could say 'paint their palms with henna' or something simialar. ;-)
