Dear teachers,

The following sentence is from a passage:

So they just leave it to the advertiser to find eleven ways of making it appeal to purchasers after they have finished it.

I am interested in 'eleven ways'. Why 'eleven' instead of ten or twenty, etc? Is there a reason for choosing 'eleven' or no reason at all?

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank you in advance.

Have a nice weekend.

It seems to me to be an arbitrary number. Maybe somebody just likes the sound of the word eleven.

:)
