What is the proper way to say this.

I haven't eaten

or I haven't ate

I agree with Shane, though you do hear the other form in some British dialects. However,most would regard it as incorrect. ;-)

You hear things like that and 'I was sat down reading' in BE dialects. ;-)

It does slow communication a bit when you have to interpret what was said before you understand it.
