[Essay] english language reflective piece

hey, we've been asked to do a reflective piece on our first year of our univerisity degree in english language. i'm a little confused about the kind of content it should include, we studied phonetics and grammar, and had seperate lectures weekly of bilingualism and child aqucisition. i have a very vague idea of what kind of things i should say and it's got to be 1000 words, could anyone help on things i could include, pointers or even show me an example essay so i know the kind of layout i should aim for?

Why don't you write an opening paragraph or two and post them on here so we can look at them first?

I've also made a few corrections to your original post. You will wish to keep certain things in mind when you write your essay, especially the importance of using a capital letter when writing "I".
