How would you categorize these phrases.......
in and out
up and about
hit and run
buy and sell
back and forth
toss and turn
ups and downs..etc.

It's hard to categorise them- they are all collocational phrsaes with 'and', but some are opposites and some are tautologies (toss and turn). ;-)
