what is a prepositional phrase and can u help me on some questions foe examples there are six groups of nutrients:carbohydrates,fats,proteins,water,minerals,and vitamins

I'm not sure I understand either. There is one prepositional phrase in your example "of nutrients: carbohydrates...and vitamins." This phrase acts as a modifier (adjective) of the noun "groups". :wink:
