Tdol. I have one prime site: Online Etymology Dictionary and to supplement my knowledge I have some very worthy books, not so much etymological dictionaries but works relating to the origin and development of the English language. SB

And although I would love to have unlimited access to the OED on-line [I could really add some credence!], the subscription fee is a little too expensive. SB
