I still have some problems with conjunctions, and just wanted to check if this sentence is grammatically right:

I still have some energy, even though last night I was proving wrong the stereotype that Brazilians are natural born dancers! But I tried my best.

I'm not sure if I used even though correctly and not sure if the word order in the sentence is the best one either.

Thank you!

It's fine, Argonaut.

:hi: Argonaut - bemvindo!. Just to add to Rover's comment, your use of 'even though' is fine; the tense you used is unusual (although you could emphasize what you spent your time doing by saying 'was proving' - although 'I spent the evening proving' would sound more natural to me). Normally, I think, you'd say 'I proved' (as that's what you did 'last night').
