Are both sentences possible? Which sentence sounds more natural? Which sentence would be more common practise?
1. There has been an atmosphere of gloom ever since.
2. Ever since there has been an atmosphere of gloom.

1. There has been an atmosphere of gloom ever since.
2. Ever since, there has been an atmosphere of gloom.

With the addition of a comma, as shown above, #2 is possible. However, #1 is much more natural.
