Is it necessary to put "would" before the second verb?

I remember my Aunt Sarah very well. Every time she came to our house, she would give me a big kiss and would pinch my cheeks and then she told me how cute I was.

No. It's better without it.

I'd say 'Every time she came to our house, she would give me a big kiss, pinch my cheeks, and tell me how cute I was'.
