Examples for litotes

Hi, I am from Serbia, and I wonder if you can help me. Actually, I am writing a research paper from morphology about litotes. The problem is that I do not know the examples of litotes in English language in terms of morphology. Actually, I know one example- ASTOUND( earlier it used to mean TO STRIKE WITH THUNDER). Litotes = affirmation by negation of the contrary.
example: not a little angry ( that means very angry), furious.
