Hi there,
Let say I am in USA now. Are the following sentences correct?

1. Travelling to Canada is less expensive than to China. OR
It is less expensive to travel to Canada than to China.

Question 2
Should we hyphen 'proofreading' and 'ice cream'?

Thanks
pete

1. The second sentence sounds OK to me. The first one I'd prefer with travelling before to China.

2. Don't hyphen proofreading. Don't hyphen ice cream when used as a noun: We had some ice cream. Hyphen it when used as an adjective: an ice-cream cone.
