Why do we need to take Maths subject when we attend the foundation course or college? (Requirement for joining the Business/Commerce course)

Why?

I think in the university, we don't study maths anymore when we take Business or Commerce stream.

It is a good THINKING discipline. Might also help with Accounting, Statistics, and Economics.

If you want to be an assistant then maybe no! But if you want to be a businessman or woman then it is essential to know the figures. I was an insurance manager in a past life and a major part of my time was in "doing the books", that is, balancing the figures. This is essential.

The most important business lesson is how you use your time. And how not to waste your time.

I know the basic maths is really important in Business yet Commerce. It helps a lot.
