Hi,
Could anyone please tell me the difference?

And, what's the right adj for people, 1. When for example Sb pretends to be another person, say, Sb pretends to be a doctor, while they're illiterate. 2. A criminal uses another person who looks exactly like them, say, Bin Laden is said to have different.... .

Thanks...

 1 could also be an impostor . The process of pretending to be someone on paper is 'identity theft'.

History students should beware of Charles Edward Stuart - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - who didn't, in the modern sense, pretend to be anything at all - although he's often referred to as 'The Young Pretender'.

Used as a noun, fake has a broader meaning than forger. A fake could be a false anything: jewelery, coins, documents. Fake can also describe a person who pretends to be someone he isn't. A forger is someone who creates fake documents, paintings or signatures. A forgery is the falsified document, painting or signature itself.

Someone who pretends to be a doctor could be called a fake, a fraud, or an imposter. He/she could also be said to be impersonating a doctor. Fake can be used as an adjective, also fraudulent. However, a fraudulent doctor might be a licensed doctor, but defrauds patients by charging them for expensive medications while giving them placebos.
