feature column and editorial

Hi,

Please help understand these two words which I don't understand:

1. feature column
2. editorial

I know that both are associated with newspapers.

A feature column is one that features a particular topic. It could be genocide, fashion, Hollywood, good and bad diets - anything that you like.

An editorial is the article written by the editor of the newspaper or journal, usually on a current matter.

an editorial = an article in a publication expressing the opinion of its editors or publishers or

published or broadcast expression of opinion presented by the editor, publisher, manager, or owner of any medium.
