Are the following sentences acceptable?

1. She has a slim chance of breaking this record.
2. The chance to break this record is slim for her.

3. I will come up with a good idea to tidy up the place anyway.
4. I will find out a good way to tidy up the place anyway.

Re: “Find a good way”

I would rewrite all but the first sentence as follows.

2. The chances of her breaking this record are slim.

3. I will come up with a good idea for tidying (up) this place.

4. I will find a good way to tidy (up) this place.

The chances of her breaking this record are slim.

I'll come up with a good idea for tidying this place up anyway.

Above, in red, I have shown how I would word both.
