The aims of this investigation are finding the truth and showing the innocence of the victim.

or

The aims of this investigation are to find the truth and show the innocence of the victim.

The latter one seems pretty correct to me. I am just wondering if the former one is correct.

It's OK in BrE without "to" before "show".
