David, out of curiosity, a suffix -monger is someone who encourages a particular activity, especially one which causes trouble:cool:. Why does it collocate with selling fish? thanks.

Teia's right, but banderas is right too - as far as newly-coined words is concerned. New words formed by the addition of "-monger" indeed often refer to "someone who encourages a particular activity, especially one which causes trouble" - e.g. scare-monger (1888 - Online Etymology Dictionary), rumour-monger.... I'd guess the association with doing something harmful comes from 'warmonger' (Online Etymology Dictionary - which has been around much longer).
