"The manager wants to buy Jones for the next season in Arsenal."

Is this sentence correct?
I would have said: "... for Arsenal for next season."

If the first sentence is correct, how should the phrase "the next season in Arsenal" be considered? Is it a noun phrase, like "The summers in Paris" in the sentence: "The summers in Paris are wonderful."?

The sentence doesn’t sound right to me. Better would be “… for Arsenal (for) next season” (as you suggested) or “… for the next season in the Arsenal squad/team”.
