Is it proper to say such a sentence "The least pleasant moment in the Nordic Walking trip is for a better half to go shopping". By the sentence in question I mean "The least pleasant moment in the Nordic Walking trip is when a better half goes shopping".

Is such structrure acceptable to you?

The sentence is all my own work, so no context is available.:-?

3.The least pleasant moment in ... is for a person to go shopping.

#1 is just about possible.
#2 is possible.
#3 is not natural.

Exactly. It would be hard to use this without sounding like you were being sarcastic or belittling.

I don't think twice when people refer to their partner as "my better half". Plenty of people say it with no suggestion of sarcasm or belittlement.
