Can one say
a. The animal was brought to the temple for killing.
b. The tools were brought to the garage for repairing the truck.
c. The men were brought to the depot for moving the boxes.

Many thanks.

I changed "killing" to "sacrifice". I did this as it would give more information as to the fate of the animal. If it was not sacrificed but rather butchered for food, I would change the ending of that sentence to reflect that.

I think I would use the infinitive instead of a preposition followed by a gerund for the last two sentence.

a. The animal was brought to the temple for sacrifice.
b. The tools were brought to the garage to repair the truck.
c. The men were brought to the depot to move the boxes.
