Could anybody clarify it to me? what´s the difference between "for while and awhile"?

It would be kindly appreciated if someone could help me.

Hard to tell without the full sentence.
"awhile" = a short time
"for while" would be used to introduce a comparison;
' for while I understand English, I am not a grammarian."
