Hi,

The Below phrase sounds nonsense for me, what forgiving in this phrase means?

Could any native speaker explain to me what the whole phrase conveys?

"This is referred as precise talking and forgiving listening."

Is the word "precise" adjective of "talking?"

Thanks

It's nonsense to me, too, Sepmre. Where did you encounter it?

Please study my amendments to your question.

I don't understand the sentence either though "precise talking" and "forgiving listening" might be some new psychobabble terminology. There was either a word missing in the original or it has been omitted by the OP - it should read "... referred to as ..."

Yet again, Google comes to our rescue. If you Google "precise speaking forgiving listening", you will find it is something to do with computer programming.

But This is referred as still suggests that it's a non-native speaker or an error to me.

Yes, as I said someone has missed out the word "to".
