Dear Sir/Madam,

Application for Spouse Visa

My husband, Mr XXXX, holds a student visa which is valid till 19 March 2019.

I am his wife and I wish to apply for a spouse visa for the same tenure, for my stay in (country).

Please advise me on how to go about making the application for the visa.

Thank you.

"You will do the needful" - This does not mean anything. Tell them what exactly you want. What is the purpose of your letter?
I do not think you need to tell them about the course your husband is doing.

Are you sure there are no forms to fill your particulars and documents to be submitted? Just a letter is all there is to apply for a visa?

My husband is going to create an [STRIKE]id[/STRIKE] ID there (that sounds illegal) so I just need to give confirmation [STRIKE]to assure[/STRIKE] that I am well aware of the norms (what norms?) and I am his wife. That's it.

See my corrections and questions above. You will notice, I'm sure, that I have had to change all instances of the word "I" to a capital letter in both your posts. Please make sure you use correct capitalisation in your next post.

I think they would require the passport and marriage certificate to be submitted, at least, which would be stated on a form to be filled and signed.
