hi

what does outlet mean in this sentence?
does it mean headline because in the dictionary it doesnt mean headline.


and on with today's news..... as you can imagine most news outlets are still going on about Neverland.

It means all news media - television, radio, newspapers, and probably the internet.

I'm not a professional teacher, but since the quote says "most news outlets", I'd be disinclined to think it was referring to all news media. The basic meaning of "outlet" in this context is "source", or "channel of distribution", so a news "outlet" is a source of news. As Anglika said that could be a newspaper, TV, radio, the internet, etc.
