We say, "from now on", do we say "from November" or "from November on"?

We say, "from now on", do we say "from November" or "from November on"?
Both are fine- adding on gives a greater sense of permanence or emphasises the continuity to me.

Can we say: "right from the day after"?
In what context? It could work depending on the context.
