It's a story about the power of charm and how a truly charming man can get away with so much behaviour for such an incredibly long time

I'm not quite sure of understanding what get away with so much behaviour means.

Does it mean that this man, being so charming has got anything he wanted and wished very easily and throughout a long time?

My question to the OP is : are you sure the text says "get away with so much behaviour" or is it "get away with such behaviour", which seems much more logical ?
