1) She's getting angry. (She's on the way to a state of angriness.) :? --> :evil:
2) She becomes angry. (She is already angry.) :evil:

Is that right?

I agree with you on 1). I would use "she is angry" for 2).

She becomes angry when people are rude to her (habit, though get would be better here)
