Hi,

A sentence from Roy Peter Clark's "HELP! for Writers":

We just encountered this strategy in the passage from Charlotte's Web, in which we get word of a little pig about to get the ax.

Could you please explain the emboldened part of the sentence? Does this sentence mean something like

We just encountered this strategy in the passage from Charlotte's Web, in which we learn about a little pig [that is] about to get the ax?

Thanks,
nyggus
