I would like to ask the following thing.
Would you give me the answers of the proper usages of the word moive?

I think, after googling, both go to a movie and the movies are correct, and you use "go to the moives", even though you will go to see a moive. How should I think about and use it?

Either one is fine, Progress. Watch your spelling of 'movie'. I corrected the first one.

Thanks riverkid.

Is "go to the movies" an idiomatic expression?
