A very slender young woman attaches to a man when she sees him in a winter windy street, at night. The man smiles but he's in a hurry and tries to get rid of her politely and lovingly. And the sentence following says:

Lovely, dear, if goose-bumpled. I'm in a hurry, but I'll stop by later.

Please, what does if goose-bumpled mean?

Thanks

This is a rather strange phrase. Goose-bumps (or goosebumps) are the little raised bits you get especially on your arms when you are cold. I have never heard it used an adjective though - I would normally expect "I have goosebumps".

Unless goose-bumpLed is some kind of alternative used in other parts of the world, I would say that at the least, this is a typing error and perhaps should have said "goose-bumped".

Edit: Having just read the first part again and spotted errors, I assume this was not written by a native English speaker, which may explain it!

Errors: "....young woman attaches to...." - this makes no sense. Perhaps she attaches HERSELF to him.
"...in a hurry and try....." - it should be TRIES.

I think this "goose bumpled" must either a deliberate or accidental mixture of the words goosebump and pimple (possibly with a dash [=a small amount, typically when mixing a cocktail] of crumpled).

P and L are close to each other on the keyboard, so the typo hypothesis is quite plausible.
