Hi,

Till now, I haven't related 'graphical display' with computers or similar devices. But I've just looked at this definition, and what have I learned? That

Graphical display is "The images shown on a computer screen or other device."

So, I can't use 'graphical display' in the context of, say, a newspaper, can I?

Thanks,
nyggus

It's not natural in that context, no. The word layout conveys the same idea in a static sense.

Thank you. But does layout cover also display? I mean, does graphical layout cover both print sources and electronic devices, computer included?

Designers and developers often talk about the layout of a window, form, or screen. The word is used for what's on the display (that is, the monitor).
