We say that "biomedical intervention" is half general in the following sentence: "There is a real possibility of affecting the ageing process with (zero article) biomedical intervention." I would like to know how the "biomedical intervention" can be made specific so that it is preceded by the definite article? Is it all uncount nouns preceded by a modifier, no matter what, should be treated as "half general" and no the definite artice is needed? by Thanks for advice.
