Do both sentences have the same meaning?
That's hard to keep in mind.
That's difficult to memorize.

Where did you find the first one?

Rather than "That's hard to keep in mind" I would say "That's hard to remember".

Hallo there,

for "hard to keep in mind" you can find a lot of phrase on google books.

If it doesn't have the same meaning as my second sentence, what does it mean at all? When do you use it?

For "hard to keep in mind" you can find a lot of [STRIKE]phrases[/STRIKE] sentences/examples on Google Books.
Please quote one or two. We shouldn't have to go looking for them.

We use keep in mind as an admonition: Keep in mind that not every answer to online forum questions is correct.

It means "remember" but only in the imperative sense.

I didn't think of that until you said it. Now it seems obvious.
