Hello, dear teachers!
I have started learning the word hardly and I noticed that we can use it before a noun. then I encountered some problems.
here are my sentences:
1. There was hardly a cloud in the sky.( I understood the meaning of this)
2. I hardly spoke any French.( I also understood the meaning)
My question is that
I hardly spoke French. ( is it correct? can I say so?)
There was hardly any cloud in the sky. (is it correct? If it is correct, is there any difference between using any and article?)
Thank your replies a lot.)))
