Is the following sentence correct: "Until recently, I have bought/bought my newspaper from the local shop, but now I have it delivered."

I have seen both tenses are used with "until recently". Which one is correct?

Just "bought", because the change to a new method has started.

By the way, it would be less ambiguous if your subject line were written "bought or have bought", because "have" can carry over to subsequent verbs in a list: "I have walked a mile, written a novel, and danced a jig" = "I have walked a mile, have written a novel, and have danced a jig".
