All these ducts are gonna have to be wet-stripped.

What is the meaning of "wet-stripped"?

I know the meaning of "wet" and "stripped", but I don't know the meaning of these words when combined side by side.

Please tell us about the context in which you heard this sentence.

I goggled the source you cited and discovered that it's the title of a horror film. I haven't time to download and watch it.

Perhaps Kingston uses a VPN.

Without further context, I would guess it means the ducts will have to be stripped while either the ducts or general area is wet, as opposed to doing the work under dry circumstances. Another possibility is that water or some other solvent will have to be used in the stripping process, as opposed to removing the layers without wetting them.

Again without more context, we're not sure what it even is they're going to strip off the ducts, but possibly something like insulation or paint. Presumably the work is harder to do when the ducts are wet.

Yes, I would assume that some liquid is used to aid in the stripping process.

Thanks. I don't think I'd seen that when I posted the comment.
