Have you ever...?-I did 2 years ago

Hi,

A: Have you ever climbed a mountain?
B: Yes, I have , two years ago.
B: Yes, I did, two years ago.

I cannot decide which one is more suitable to the question in the present perfect. I am confusend because of the 'two years ago' thing. I think both could be OK.

They're both okay, though we tend to repeat the verb if possible:

A: Have you ever climbed a mountain?
B: Yes, I have, two years ago.

C: Did you ever climb a mountain?
D: Yes, I did, two years ago.

Did is not impossible but have​ is much more typical.
