Does the following sentence sound correct? I think it is grammatically correct.

Having poured the contents of the jar into the saucepan, then add water.

or I think I can express as follows.

After you have poured the contents of the jar into the saucepan, then add water.

In conclusion, I think both are correct. What do you think

In conclusion, I think both are correct. What do you think
Delete the 'then' in the first, and possibly the second, and they're grammatical. But you won't see instructions written that way.
