Hi
What does the following sentence mean?
"Few have had the popularity or permanence of the T-shirt and tuxedo."
Does it mean that T-shirt and tuxedo have been popular with few people and used by few people continuously?
"Few have had (possessed?) the popularity or permanence of T-shirt" sounds awkward to me..
Coulld you explain the meaning?
Thanks
